Position Summary:

The Technology Systems Administrator & Technical Support Specialist is responsible for the administration, integration, and ongoing performance of Axis Sports Academy’s core technology platforms, including HubSpot CRM, FACTS SIS/FMS/LMS, Microsoft 365, and WordPress. This role serves as the primary technical point of contact for on-site staff in Scottsdale, AZ, and provides high-level remote support to team members across the U.S.

The ideal candidate combines strong systems administration skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve user issues quickly, ensuring optimal technology performance for both academic and business operations.

Essential Job Duties:

Systems Administration & Platform Management

  • Serve as the primary administrator for HubSpot, FACTS (SIS/FMS/LMS), Microsoft 365, and WordPress.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols across platforms.
  • Maintain and optimize integrations between systems to ensure data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides for internal reference.

Website (WordPress) Management

  • Update and maintain the Academy’s WordPress website, ensuring performance, security, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Support ongoing site enhancements based on department needs.  Coordinate with third-party developers for complex updates or customizations.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues.

CRM (HubSpot) Administration

  • Configure and maintain CRM workflows, pipelines, forms, marketing automation, and reporting.
  • Support Admissions, Marketing, and Communications through targeted campaigns and data insights.

FACTS (SIS/FMS/LMS) Administration

  • Oversee configuration, reporting, and maintenance of the Academy’s student information, financial management, and learning management systems.
  • Train staff in effective use of the platform and support troubleshooting.

Technical Support (On-Site & Remote)

  • Provide timely Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for on-site staff in Scottsdale, AZ.
  • Deliver remote technical assistance to nationwide team members via phone, email, and screen-sharing tools.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, email, domain/DNS management, and other essential tools.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor performance metrics across systems and produce reports for leadership.
  • Implement and maintain tracking tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot analytics, etc.).

Collaboration & Training

  • Partner with academic, operational, and marketing teams to ensure technology supports organizational goals.
  • Conduct staff training on systems use, best practices, and security protocols.

Compliance & Security

  • Maintain compliance with FERPA and other privacy/security regulations.
  • Implement proactive measures to safeguard Academy data and digital assets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
  • Experience managing integrations, security, and compliance in an educational or business setting
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration and technical support
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, FACTS, Microsoft 365, and WordPress; at least 2 systems listed, with desire to learn others listed and new systems to be added in the future

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
